AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY
Karen Daggett Austin
  Karen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education with a DANCE specialization from California State University, Long Beach. She completed post graduate work and teaching credentials in both California and Oregon, and certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach through a CSULB affiliate program. Professionally Karen owns her True Food Coach, LLC Health Coaching practice and is the Owner/Artistic Director of All That Jazz Dance Studio in Grants Pass, Oregon.  She founded the studio in 1989 with former dance student, Wes Veldink, who now performs, choreographs and teaches professionally in New York. 
 
As the owner of All That Jazz and the director of its Advanced Production performance and competition ensemble since 1991, Karen has had the privilege of leading the group to earn numerous national dance titles across the US, to perform on four tours representing American youth dance throughout Austria, Europe, and to appear in interviews, national ads & rankings in both Dance Teacher and Dance Spirit magazines. Karen is also a Screen Actor's Guild cardholder having acted in television commercials and film.
 
When Karen is not teaching dance or directing her performance company, she is health-coaching, mentoring and consulting with individuals and groups to help them create permanent nutrition and lifestyle solutions for stellar health
